The boxes are out the door….

One more item to be ticked off the list, just a couple of paintings to be picked up and delivered before the forwarder “Majortrans” can finish their part and the 2m3 of books, painting, clothes and other smaller stuff is crossing the Atlantic prior us doing so next Thursday with “KLM”. I should get my millage in addition we covered the company policy using best price. It was quite a bit in difference as well between KLM and Lufthansa (ok to my advantage).

The apartment is empty when we arrive in Houston next week. Friday we will get our keys and make sure the colors on the walls are acceptable and no painting is needed in any of the rooms. Hope not, do not want any delay. Out shopping furniture will be fun and most of the kitchen ware.  I enjoy shopping so I do not mind that part.

We will be staying the first days, until we get a bed and can use the kitchen, at LaTour Fontaine   (http://www.latourfontaineapartmenthomes.com/)

just around 10km from Laila’s work and not many meters from Galleria, the famous local moll.

Did I mention it looks like it will be 22 deg C today in Houston, outside rain 3-4 degree, ice and difficult driving and walking conditions on the roads, no, keep me warm with the sun in Texas will do.
