In Norway in the middle of the night, but here from 6pm and on it is the red carpet along with the show and I am sure a night cap for them all. It is fun, watch live the show and not be tired, enjoy the artist one by one receive the well deserved awards.
For those who walked the red carpet they can be glad it was in Beverly Hills today and not Houston. Why? Just because it was a day full of rain and grey sky!
One of the oldies won, Al Pacino, fourth time after 15 nominees, it is just great to see him on stage and in the movies.
Just wonder how long the show last, two hours into it and it looks like there is an award to all of them.
Sunday ends with news at ten, but the day, even it was grey started a bit late, but driving straight to Bed Bath & Beyond. I have been there before, in New York, so I knew what to expect, but I guess I had forgotten that it was as big as it was. You get everything you need for bedrooms, bathrooms and everything beyond you expect to find.
Then again it is a question about taste, so we ended up in the apartment to make a list of what we needed from each shop with regards to the shopping tomorrow Monday. It is MLK day (Martin Luther King) so Laila is of, and we can do the list to the 3-4 shops we are to visit.
Before we went back to the apartment we had lunch, or must say brunch. It will be difficult to make the choices and I say this due to our last visit to a local restaurant. Flora & Muse, a traditional American restaurant with a touch of Europe, with food tasting like the 3 others we have visited, just great. Mine Salmon Benedict, and the Stone Owen Flatbread with Pear and Gorgonzola for Laila, just need to be running a lot on the treadmill.
We will make sure to enjoy the food and drink and at the same time keep the weight, wish us good luck.
