Early up this morning, thought people in Statoil was global, but not all, setting a meeting at noon in Norway is fine, however when they need participants from other part of the world they need to act global. Someone did not and Laila was at work for 06 AM, meeting original scheduled for 05AM (yes, in the morning or in the middle of the night for some). Please think about the ex-pat wife that do the driving and need to get up and make the breakfast at 4 in the morning.
OK, will pick her up in the afternoon for our regular scheduled time. I hope, depending on how the snow is coming early or later. Yes it sound that the snow in Houston is like a hurricane that hit. Understandable, even I must say that the Texans drive proactive and very careful, with snow or ice on the roads and not the same winter tires that Norwegians have it is a question of being proactive and go slow.
Just happy the landscape is flat and no “major” hill to climb or slide down.
We have a long weekend ahead of us with Friday as a day of, so the snow can just come with sunset as promised. No problem as mentioned before to enjoy our Friday dinner on one of the local restaurants. Eddie’s V seafood restaurants it will be this Friday. We look forward to it.
