It is not so nice when you hear your wife scream from the shower in the morning. Was she slipping and hurt herself or what could it be. Does she want me to help or does she manage. This time she obvious needed some help. She was not happy at all to have an American Cockroach in the shower together with her. Not the sexiest company to share the shower with as when I am too lazy to get up and share it with her.
In addition cockroach is not the pet she would chose, and it was up to me now to show that this is nothing, easy challenge to solve and get the small “animal” out of the shower. Superman or not, get the tools and get it done.
Than within day, the second American cockroach appeared. This time at our kitchen on one of the draws for our flatware the local pet appeared. Another scream from my wife early in the morning and for a good reason, this one was as big so it was possible to put a leach on to it. I went for the largest knife in the kitchen, tried to hit it, but as it is a good runner it moved fast and managed to hide behind the stow. So no it was to call upon the national brigade of cockroach hunters. They have been here and sprayed around so we hope we will not see any until next cold season at earliest, keep them outside.
