Fishing trip

When the girls walked along the beach of Galvestone Markus and I went fishing. We just did a short 4 hour trip. Together with Captain Shannon on his 27fot boat with 450hp Yamaha to go offshore we chased the trout and other local fish.

Did we get any, sure we did, not so many but interesting, will be back later with photos of them. At least you can see we enjoyed ourselves out at sea.

Local ferry

We also was visted by Dolphines

Unfortunate we could hear about an accident at the beach on the ship radio. When we got back to pick up the girls a helicopter was on search for a 17 year old boy, it did not look too good.

Galvestone was interesting, but I did not get to see too much of it so I need to go back soon and discover some old south state architecture and colors of the Caribbean.

Time for shopping

So a day for Houston Premier Outlet, half an hour drive from home, and we are located at the shopping centre. With 145 shops there should be enough.
It was nice temperature in the beginning, but not only because of all the walking around in the shops, also it got warmer.

I must admit I got me a new suit too, last time I visited I noticed it and I could not let a nice Hugo Boss suit just pass when I pay 400 $. I think Markus was happy too. His suit was 100 $ less from the same designer, only he needed a new shirt and tie too.
For our little princess it “only” ended up with shoes, but when her mother managed many bags. We just made it home. As you all know it is not a big car, and with the stroller crossing the back seat all the bags was jammed in the both.

I do not think there will be more shopping of this kind for the rest of their stay, I guess they got enough.

In the park today

Just back home after been to the local park where Kitty could play and run around before a nap and tour to the pool later on.

We noticed that more and more people arrived after the time for go to the church that had service 7am 9,30am and 11am, than it was time for family fun in the park.

Kitty enjoyed it, not sure about her dad, just it is a part of being a dad run after to make sure the young once not hurting themselves too much.

Still nice and warm, but cloudy, forecast for tomorrow is thunder and lightning so Houston Outlet could be the alternative visit.

Chasing fishing outside Galvestone later in the week.

Thanks James

For the new challenges, I pick you up on that and join you at the tennis course. Just tell me where and when and I will be there to challenge you. OK, I know I have never plaid and I told you so, but now I am up for it.

And thanks to you and your family to invite us to the Easter Egg Hunt at Royal Oak Country Club. We enjoyed it and appreciated a lot the time, great kids you got, great wife and a great mother in law. She knows how to enjoy the kids.

Easter Egg Hunt at Royal Oak Country Club

Thanks to James and his family we were invited to join their Easter Egg Hunt at Royal Oak Country Club today.

How fun it was both for us as grandparents as it was for the kids. In addition our little princess got her own Easter Bunny, pink and adopted at once.

But it was the Easter Egg Hunt that was the day big event. First for the children 1-3 years old and then the group 3-6, little Kitty was in the first group, even she had not participated before it was something for her. She loved it and was happy smiling girl the whole event through.

How fun it was to watch them all.

Easter bunny

I met the Easter Bunny in Houston today. White dressed and just looking for the children to play with, I did not manage to get a picture together with the bunny, but got a lot of picture with our little princess visiting us.

This is the way it should be each Easter from now on if I could make it that way. Just look how fun the kids have with the bunny.
